Lee Reznicek Editing

I’m a developmental editor specializing in memoir and a copyeditor for a variety of nonfiction and business writing projects. I bring real-world sensibility and an experienced editorial eye to every project, drawing on years spent developing corporate training programs and editing materials—where clarity, precision, and communication were key.

After retiring in 2020, I dove fully into my second career and completed the University of California San Diego’s Specialized Certificate in Copyediting and the University of Washington’s Specialization in Developmental Editing. I’m currently honing my proofreading skills through the Publishing Training Centre’s highly regarded Proofreading Essentials program.

That combination of training and experience has prepared me to approach editing at any level, from the big picture of structure and flow to the fine details that ensure clarity and consistency.

My clients span the professional and creative spectrum. I work with business professionals—on projects ranging from leadership development to marketing and training materials—as well as with nonfiction authors and independent creative voices writing personal memoirs, blogs, essays, and newsletters that inform and inspire.

I live and work in Marlborough, Massachusetts, close enough to Cambridge to enjoy its bookstores and author events. When I’m not editing, I love exploring new places, walking with my husband on the trails near our home, or spending summer days on Cape Cod with a good book in hand.
